The company plans to invest around MAD 50 million over the next five years to build a production facility and offices covering around 4,000 square metres, and to create approximately 77 direct jobs in the coming years. A further 4,000 square metres are reserved for future expansion. The plant will specialise in manufacturing technical hoses and connection systems made of high-performance elastomers and modern textiles, exclusively for aerospace applications, in close cooperation with the group's German locations.
The ceremony was presided over by Ryad Mezzour, Morocco's Minister of Industry and Trade, and was attended by Hamid Benbrahim El Andaloussi, President of Midparc, as well as representatives from AMDIE, GIMAS, German chamber of commerce, government institutions, industry partners and the wider aerospace community.
'The new company will be certified accordingly, as are all our sites. Product approval, especially for the aerospace sector, will continue to be carried out in close cooperation with our customers. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Industry and our institutional partners, this project marks a new chapter in the cooperation between Morocco and Germany in the field of aerospace,' said Peter Bremer, Managing Director of Matzen & Timm GmbH. "Morocco offers an exemplary industrial environment, and we are proud to build our future here," added Amine Iraoui, General Manager of Masterduct Morocco.
Provided that everything continues to go according to plan, customers will be able to receive fittings, bellows and hoses that are 'designed in Germany and made in Morocco' from Q4 2026 onwards. Full capacity is expected to be reached by 2030.
