Hose Safety Awareness Week (HSAW) is an annual campaign initiated by NAHAD (National Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution), the leading North American industry association, to promote greater safety in the use of hoses and hose assemblies.
The aim is to make the topic of hose safety visible to manufacturers, distributors and users and to actively implement it: everyone involved should see safety as an integral part of their work - from employees to customers.
NAHAD offers toolkits, promotional materials, webinars and training materials to support and disseminate campaigns on site:
- The topic of hose safety is specifically spotlighted.
- Best practices and relevant guidelines are disseminated via various channels.
- Companies are motivated to become active - for example with events, training courses or social media campaigns.
Masterduct has initiated a social media campaign specifically for this purpose and will report daily on the topic of hose safety on social networks.
