Masterduct Morocco SARL AU is part of the Masterflex Group, which is investing approximately three million euros in the new facility in the Midparc Free Trade Zone near Casablanca. The site will feature approximately 4,000 square meters of production space and offices for around 70 employees. Organizationally, the location is part of Matzen & Timm, the aerospace specialist within the Masterflex Group. From Casablanca, customers around the world will be supplied with molded parts, bellows, and hoses.
Manufacturing Technologies
In the future, technical hoses and connection systems made of high-performance elastomers and modern textiles for the aviation industry will be manufactured on approximately 4,000 square meters—in close cooperation with the Group’s German locations. Masterduct Morocco is part of Matzen & Timm, the specialist for aviation applications within the Masterflex Group. Like all locations, the new company will be certified accordingly. Product approval, particularly for the aerospace sector, will continue to be carried out in close collaboration with customers.
Geographical Context
Midparc is a free trade zone in the Nouaceur region, where approximately 80 percent of the country’s aerospace industry is based. It is located about 30 kilometers from Casablanca and in close proximity to Mohammed V International Airport. Morocco has significantly expanded its global partnerships with leading aerospace companies such as Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, and Safran, which have established manufacturing facilities in the country. Factors such as a highly skilled workforce, training capabilities, geographical proximity to Europe, and government support make Morocco a preferred location. Morocco is Africa’s third-largest economy.
